Bollywood Superstars: Building an Immersive Experience
Presented from 24 January to 4 June 2023 at Louvre Abu Dhabi, the exhibition “Bollywood Superstars: A Short Story of Indian Cinema” is jointly organised by France Muséums, the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac and Louvre Abu Dhabi. Designed as a content-oriented immersive experience, the exhibition opens the doors to Indian cinema in all its diversity, from its beginnings in 1896 to the present day.

Impressionism: Pathways to Modernity – The Role of Strategic Planning in International Collaboration
Jointly organised by France Muséums, the Musée d’Orsay and Louvre Abu Dhabi, the new international exhibition Impressionism: Pathways to Modernity will be held from 12 October 2022 to 5 February 2023 at Louvre Abu Dhabi. Bringing together over 150 artworks including 130 on loan from the Musée d’Orsay, it focuses on a theme and a period that are central to the latter museum. By creating a dialogue between major painters such as Monet, Manet, Cézanne, Renoir and Degas, the exhibition invites us to explore the work and influences of artists who, from the mid-1850s onwards, opened up new creative pathways closely linked to the social upheavals of their time.

Stories of Paper – Building a dialogue between exhibits and scenography
Jointly organised by France Muséums, Musée du Louvre and Louvre Abu Dhabi, the new temporary exhibition “Stories of Paper” will take place from 20 April to 24 July 2022. The exhibition explores the countless opportunities paper offers for artistic expression and encourages visitors to take a fresh look at this everyday material that has become less widely used in the digital era. These “stories of paper” give visitors the chance to discover points of convergence between different civilisations in innovative, palpable ways.
